We hope that everyone got to see the big bright moon last Friday because it was very beautiful! With such a picturesque scene in mind, Comet Class and Rocket Class joined together to make Otsukimi Dango. Everyone’s hardwork paid off because the finished product was very tasty after we rolled the dango in kinako powder.
先週の金曜日、大きな明るい月がとても美しかったので、皆さんご覧になられたでしょうか！そんな絵に描いたような風景を思い浮かべながら、CometとRocketが一緒にお月見だんごを作りました。きな粉を巻いて出来上がったお月見だんごはとても美味しかったです。

Every Tuesday this month before our Halloween party we will all dress up in the spirit of Halloween! For this week, we celebrated Pajama Day! Please note that we will have Hat Day on October 10th, Animal Day on October 17th, and Halloween Colors Day (Orange or Black) on October 24th.

10月27日のハロウィーン・パーティーに向けて、毎週火曜日は仮装をします！今週はパジャマの日でした！10月10日は帽子の日、10月17日は動物の日、10月24日はハロウィンカラーの日（オレンジまたは黒）です。

Since October is finally here, both Rocket and Comet made same festive Halloween decorations! Rocket made pumpkins with very expressive faces, and Comet Class made Halloween wreaths!
10月に入り、ロケットもコメットもハロウィンの飾り付けをしました！ロケットは表情豊かなカボチャを、コメット組はハロウィンリースを作りました！

Speaking of Halloween, both classes will be practicing a simple dance that we will do at the Halloween Party. Feel free to practice at home!
ハロウィンといえば、両クラスともハロウィンパーティーで踊る簡単なダンスを練習します。ご自宅でも自由に練習してください！

Rocket Class had a fun time playing in the park!

Do you remember when we sent letters to our grandparents the other week? Well, Comet Class was delighted to receive such a cute handmade card and response from one of the Spanish-speaking grandmothers. While reading the letter together, we learned words like “amor” (love), “globo” (balloon), and “casita” (cottage). It was so much fun to read together!
先々週、祖父母に手紙を送ったことを覚えているだろうか？彗星組は、スペイン語を話すおばあちゃんから手作りのかわいいカードと返事をもらって大喜び。一緒に手紙を読みながら、”amor”（愛）、”globo”（風船）、”casita”（コテージ）などの単語を学んだ。一緒に読むのはとても楽しかった！

One final important note! We have a new Rocket Class teacher that has barely started just this month. She’s been with ISN for a few years and we are excited to have her in the Preschool!
最後に重要なお知らせがあります！今月から新しいロケットクラスの先生が着任しました。彼女はすでにISNで数年働いており、プリスクールでの勤務にシフトしてくれることに興奮しています！
